How to:

Configure outlook to run from remote location.

 

Step 1:

Click this link http://mail.beyondfaithhomecare.com/certsrv

It will prompt for username and password. The username is the same one used for logging into the terminal server and same password.

Perform the following steps to create the Outlook 2003 profile:

  1. Click Start and then right click on the Outlook 2003 icon in the menu. Click on the Properties command.



          Click the Show Profiles

  1. Click the Add button in the Mail dialog box.

  1. Type in a name for the profile in the Profile Name text box. Click OK.

  1. Select the Add a new e-mail account option in the This wizard will allow you to change the e-mail accounts the direction that Outlook uses page. Click Next.

  1. On the Server Type page, select the Microsoft Exchange Server option and click Next.

  1. Type in mail.beyondfaithhomecare.com and type in the your username

(Not email address)    Then click More Settings

 

 

G.        This will prompt for username and password. Click Cancel

 

Then a screen like this will appear

 

 

H.        Click the connection Tab



I.          Then click the box for Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP

 

J.          Type in the mail.beyondfaithhomecare.com Check both boxes and choose basic authentication

 

K.                this will return you this Screen Click apply then OK



Change the profile to the one that was created.

 

When you open outlook it will prompt for the username and password.

Type in the domain\username and the password.

It will remember the last username next time and you will only need to type in the password.
